Irina is a certified auditor. She graduated from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in 1998. Irina participated in numerous mandatory and voluntary audits of enterprises of different ownership forms and led the working group of auditors.

Irina has extensive experience in tax consulting, as well as successful experience in advocacy of companies in disputes with tax authorities during pre-trials and in court. Irina won dozens of cases.

In 2010, Irina Makarova became a co-founder of the company "Standpoint".
